The prison for poets is a project developed during the confinement in the Marracq district where I grew up, in Bayonne. This autobiographical series crosses family and colonial history, nocturnal wanderings and Basque identity, against a backdrop of compromised artistic vocations. This project, far from forming an explicit narrative, takes the form of a collage that interweaves computer-generated images, video capture, motion capture, photography, drawing, 3D scanning, interviews, Whatsapp voice messages, forgeries and resurrected magnetic tapes. This composition attempts to bring out of the black a place, the Marracq prison, the hope of encounters, the drawing of an escape plan.
