Marc Behrens is an artist working with various media: sound, installation, photography, video, and text. His first solo exhibition took place in 1989, his first music album on cassette was released in the same year. Since then, Behrens has produced more than 30 music albums and created work for performance, concert, and exhibition – across six continents. In 2011, Behrens started to work on «Clould», a multi-format piece, a kind of conceptual theatre. The words «cloud» and «could», written or pronounced at the same time, form its title. So far, «Clould» consists of three channels of video, one of them containing stories as scrolling text, four movements of music composed from in-flight field recordings, several masks, and a performance featuring shaving foam and sometimes sprayable whipped cream. Its first version was premiered on September 14, 2011, at Culturgest, Lisbon. Between 2008 and 2015, Behrens also took hundreds of aerial photographs, unedited until now. «Clould» could easily take on the form of a book, and maybe it will, its extracts and offsprings could appear in any format possible. «The Cargo Scroll», a sort of deviation from «Clould», was developed for Wrong Wrong n. 6 in September 2016.
