«Offline», a direct reference to the theme of this edition of WrongWrong #19, proposes the notion that «offline» only has substance as a concept in relation to «online» (it is easy to lose perspective on the possible balance and proportions of these dimensions of human life). Universal reality always tends to be infinitely more complex than its representation. The issue in this post, a recording of the Serra do Açor environment, suggests that, experienced or not, the «offline» dimension will be absolute and irreducible, and as a comment the decision to live in such an environment is full of meaning. In fact, the small sound «image» represented here ends up transcending the possible discourse about its «offline» quality (or asserts itself as an independent existence of such discourse) – even though, ironically, this publication has placed it in the «online» dimension.
