André Hencleeday is a performer and composer based in Caldas da Rainha. He completed his piano course at the National Conservatory of Lisbon and later a Bachelor's degree in Composition at the Lisbon Superior School of Music. He regularly performs and records with ensembles led by Ernesto Rodrigues and Ricardo Jacinto. He served as an assistant to Miguel Azguime at O'Culto da Ajuda. As part of the exhibition Desenho Sem Fim by sculptor Rui Chafes, he performed a closing concert with the project he shares with Pedro Coragem, a project called Candura. He made his debut as a soloist in Nuno da Rocha's piece Inferno with the Gulbenkian Choir and Orchestra at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and, more recently, with the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP).
